He caught 10 passes for 323 yards and seven more touchdowns. Defensively, the junior had four interceptions and 35 solo tackles. Wells says he can bench 260-pounds, squat 370 and claims a 34-inch vertical jump.
Final senior (9-5, missed four games with injury) stats: 1,000 yards rushing and around 15 touchdowns
Wells reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 16 ACT, which he plans on retaking in February.
Wells: “I just can’t be stopped. Once I have the ball in my hands I want to take it to the end zone. Once I make my cut, I can usually get past everybody and see the whole field quickly.
“I should probably be more patient when finding the hole. I’d probably be able to get even more yards by finding the best opening.”
