| Biography: |
Cotton started his first game as a freshman at Blount High School under Coach Ben Harris against Wilcox County. He threw for 131 yards including a 68 yard touchdown pass in the first half.
He passed for 400 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman in limited duty.
Cotton was a full time starter as a sophomore until a quad injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. Prior to the injury, he had six total touchdowns (3 rushing and 3 passing). He passed for 600 yards while rushing for another 180 prior to the injury.
2007: Cotton led Faith Academy to the state championship game in Troy. He had 1,300 passing yards, 17 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He also added over 600 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
2008 Season
Passed for 2, 300 yards and 24 TD's. Rushed for over 700 ayrds and 9 TD's.
