| A downhill slasher, Lacy is powerful and difficult to tackle. Attacks seams in the 2nd and 3rd levels, and has the ability to run away from LBs and DBs. A bit stiff in the hips and this becomes apparent in the fact that he has difficulty dropping his hips and cutting back. | (Sr.): Before the season began Lacy suffered a left knee MCL sprain causing him to miss a few games, then he later suffered a right ankle sprain and only played in about seven total games. He still managed to rush for 1,046 yards and 17 touchdowns, playing hurt most of the year. Class 5A All-State selection, Mobile Press Register Super Southeast 120.
(Jr.) Lacy finished his junior season with around 1,800 yards rushing and 26 touchdowns. Named LSWA Class 5A All-State/LFCA Class 5A 1st Team All-State
(So.) Rushed for 1,207 yards on 178 attempts and scored 19 touchdowns.
Lacy reports a 2.0 core GPA and an 18 ACT, which he is retaking in March. “I’m really close,” he said. “I’ve got to finish up strong. I can’t slack off at all right now. I’m close but I’m gonna be fine. I’m working real hard right now to make sure I make it.”
Lacy: "I have good vision and speed. I'm able to get away from defenders. I move well and I try to play like Adrian Peterson. I have a lot of power too.
"I really need to improve my pass blocking. That's something I don't do a lot. I also want to improve my leg strength and have better drive. I plan on doing a lot of squats and strength training."
