| 2006 Senior Awards: Class 3A Lineman of the Year (TN), TWSA All-State 3A, 3A Mr. Football Lineman, TFCA All-State, All-Region
116 tackles, 19 for loss, nine sacks
Watkins recorded 90 tackles including 15 sacks. For his achievements, he earned 1st Team All-Region and Jackson Sun All-West Tennessee honors.
Also a track athlete for his school, Watkins ran a 11.2 seconds 100 meters.
