| Shaun Cody served on the “Wild Bunch 2” defensive line for the Trojans in 2003. He was a constant force in the middle of the line and simply could not be contained. He totaled 26 tackles, six of those coming as sacks of the quarterback, forced a fumble and blocked three kicks by himself. Cody’s exponential progression over his first three seasons makes it hard to doubt his ability of putting himself in the company of the top two of three defensive ends in the entire nation in 2004. Cody’s combination of speed and strength makes it virtually impossible for any offensive lineman to single-handedly contain him, and this year, rushing from the outside will make Cody that much more difficult to stop. |
