Coleman Remains Solid
"How could anyone who wants to develop as a football player not like that facility?" Coleman asked. "It is so nice. I can't wait to start using it."
Coleman, an Ole Miss commitment, said everything from that point on stayed on that same level of excellence.
"The academic center is state-of-the-art. Dr. (Thomas) Wallace gave us a tour of that and an inspirational talk on how everyone will be available to help in our quest to get a degree," he added. "It's all there for you. All you have to do is work and reach out to get it."
On Saturday, Cliff was impressed by the the interaction of the team and the family atmosphere being fostered on the recruits' visit to Houston Nutt's home/farm.
"The lake, the horses, it was all very nice. I can tell players are treated like part of a big family at Ole Miss and I was looking for that," he noted.
Certainly one of the factors in Coleman's decision was the Rebs' need of young corners.
At 5-11, 175 pounds and with 4.45 speed, Cliff feels he will fit right in and will have a chance to make a mark for himself early in his career.
"All freshmen are looking to break into the lineup and help the team any way they can. I'm no different," he stated. "I was shown around by Jeremy McGee. He's a cool guy. He shot me straight. He said the guys who work the hardest and perform the best will play and that's the way it should be."
Cliff said he is finished with recruiting. Over and done.
"I'm a Rebel. It's over," he closed.
