Former Neb signee commits to Rebs

The massive 6' 7", 310 pound offensive tackle out of North Dakota State college has decided to take his talents down to the SEC.
"Coach Markuson (from Ole Miss) came by our school this morning to talk to my coach, so I thought it would be a good time to commit," added
Aaron Schulte
.
When did Ole Miss get heavily involved?
"Coach Markuson came up to watch me practice in the Spring. He saw me play on a Friday and he called me that Sunday to let me know that I had an offer. We have been talking ever since then."
Why did the former Nebraska signee choose Ole Miss this time around?
"I took an unofficial visit there this summer, and I liked the place. I have a good relationship with Coach Markuson, and it seems like a good fit for me."
Is it going to be a mental adjustment playing in the SEC after signing with his home state university of high school?
"Not at all. I came up here, and I was suppose to go back to Nebraska, but then they had a coaching change. I was cool with it because I did not want to go to a school that did not want me."
What are Ole Miss' expectations for the expected May graduate?
"Coach Markuson just told me to be ready and start working out as soon as possible. I know it is good competition down in the SEC. It is the best conference in the nation. I am just ready to get to work."
What type of player is Aaron?
"I give a lot of effort, and I am not afraid to knock people in the mouth. I will not quit either. I never give up. But as far as my attributes, people have always told me that I have good feet, so naturally I am a good pass blocker. Pass blocking is fun because you get to set them up to do different things. But I love to run block too because it is basically who is the better player or who gives more effort."
Schulte was a preseason NJCAA All-American after starting all nine games as a freshman. How did this sophomore year go?
"We finished 5-5. We are done. We had to win out and have somebody else lose, but it did not happen. But we had a good year. We improved from a 2-7 year last season. We beat the #2 and #3 team in our conference, so we had some good games. I started every game and had a good year. I made All-Conference again, so that was good."
Aaron will have 3 to play 2 on the D1 level and is expected to graduate in May.
