GA LB back in from SEC camp

Scout.com's #55 SLB attended Ole Miss' Jr Day in the Spring and came back for a second time to take in their Sr Camp.

"I thought camp went really well," stated Stephen Roberts. "We did a lot of LB drills and one on one drills. I thought I did good on the one on one drills. I measured in a 6' 2", 218. I ran a 4.6 forty and had a 35 inch vertical jump."

Which Ole Miss coaches did the Georgia standout talk to?

"I spoke with Coaches (Tyrone) Nix and Nutt. They said they liked me a lot. I'm considering visiting them again in the future. I'm supposed to call them back and set something up for the season."

What stood out the most during the camp?

"I really enjoyed the camp. It was done at a practice tempo. It was very high energy. We worked really hard. I like that kind of work. I also liked the coaches. They don't baby you. It's all about football with them."

Which colleges are staying in touch with the Fayetteville (GA) native?

"Coach Rocker recruits me for Ole Miss. I talk to him a lot. He's a real cool guy and he knows my high school coach. He's got good connections. I like him a lot. I have offers from Ole Miss, Troy, Mississippi State, UCF, Purdue, Indiana, Louisville, Eastern Carolina, and Minnesota. Florida State seems like they are very close to offering. They want to watch me play some this fall, but I think they will offer in the end. I really hope they do."

Do any schools stand out for the talented LB?

"No school stands out right now. I would love to play for all of those schools. They're all really good schools. I plan on taking my visits and deciding sometime near the end of my season. I'm going to take it slow and enjoy the recruiting process."
