Rebs hoping to turn TE Jacoby Bell at Sr Camp
By

Jacoby was one of the top playmakers in Mississippi last season and was expected to move his talents from receiver to quarterback this year but those plans have changed.
"I am not playing QB anymore," added the soft spoken
Jacoby Bell
. "I am playing WR/TE on offense, and they are starting me at MLB too. I played at safety last year."
The 6' 2", 220 pounder has attended one camp this summer but plans to participate in a couple more.
"Our team attended some camp in South Alabama, and we are going to USM's team camp coming up. I am also going up with WR
Kevin Norwood
and OL Zach Rushing to Ole Miss' Sr camp on July 26th."
It is no surprise that USM and Ole Miss are at the top of Bell's list.
"Those two are pretty much it for me. Those are the two I am the most interested in. I am really not even looking at anybody else."
What are Jacoby's thoughts on Ole Miss?
"I think they are alright. I heard they had a new IPF, but that is not all I am looking for in a school. I am looking at the graduation percentage from their players. They offered me right after Coach Nutt got hired. Coach Dickerson is recruiting me for them. I only met him one time, so I do not know much about him yet."
And Southern Miss?
"They were my first offer. Their head coach offered me. I do know who is recruiting me for them, but I love USM. That is where I really want to go, but I might change my mind after I go up to Ole Miss. You never know, but I have been to their campus a bunch of times and it is really close to home."
Bell's mother played basketball for Ole Miss in the 80's so Jacoby has visited the campus several times. Knowing this, what else is there to learn when he takes in the trip to Oxford in late July?
"I just want to see how they work out, how they condition, and how many players they graduate. I am looking to see how many high price jobs they get for their graduates in the work field. And lastly, I want to know how many can they advance to the next level."
