Drake Nevis off to a solid start
This year, he is off to even a better start for John Ehret."I have 15 tackles, 5 for losses, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 5 (QB) hurries," added Drake Nevis. But his team has not fared so well?"We are off to a shaky start. We are 0-2."What improvements has Nevis seen in his game?"I am staying much lower and I know more techniques."Drake committed to Ole Miss back in the Spring but he continues to hear from other colleges."LSU and Auburn have called and Florida too. Ole Miss, we talk all of the time."What did LSU have to say to Nevis?"Coach (Les) Myles was making sure I am doing good in the classroom. It was not that long of a conversation though."And Auburn?"Coach Terry (Price) and I just talked for about five minutes. It was not really about anything special."Have both colleges offered Drake a scholarship?"They have given me a verbal offer."What was Ole Miss' message?"Coach Frank (Wilson) and I were just talking about my official visit. I am going up there on December 1st."Have anymore officials been set?"No, I have not scheduled any."How solid is Drake's commitment to Ole Miss?"Yea, it is doing pretty good now. Basically, I just took a break from recruiting until I take all of my visits to see what is out there for me. It is hard for me to explain. I have basically only visited two places. I have been to LSU's Jr Day and Ole Miss. The other schools, I have never seen their campuses, so I still do not know what is out there, but I know what Ole Miss has, and I like it.. It feels like home, so that is a plus. I feel comfortable with my decision (to commit to Ole Miss), but I just want to see what all is out there."#97 White and Gold/Maroon and Gold (Terrevone High)#99 Blue and Blue/White and Blue (John Ehret High)
