Jennings (CB, Calhoun City, MS) - Listed as 5' 11 1/2", 155.
Probably
the second fastest prospect in the state of Mississippi behind Terry Grant. M.D.
really stood out at the Scout.com combine that was held in Starkville this past
Spring.
As a junior, Jennings had 70 tackles, 8 int's, and 4 forced fumbles.
He was named Region 1(1A) MVP and 2nd Team All-State for his performances on the
field.
MD told us last night that Alabama leads Ole Miss and MSU for his
services.
Terry
Levy (WR, Kosciusko, MS) - Listed as 6' 2", 198 with 4.5 speed.
Levy
is rated as a 4 Star prospect by scout.com and is ranked as the #19 wide receiver
in the country.
As a junior, Terry had 32 catches for 690 yards and 11
TD's.
Levy was named to the Clarion Ledger's Dandy Dozen squad for the
2005 campaign.
Terry committed to Ole Miss (offer)in February.
Matthew
Malouf (QB, Oxford, MS) - Listed as 6' 2", 211.
Malouf turned
heads at the Ole Miss Sr camp when he ran a legit 4.52 forty, which was the fastest
time for all campers who weighed over 200 pounds.
Matthew completed 87-of-103
passes for 1004 yards and 4 touchdowns as a junior.
Malouf rushed for another
567 yards and 9 TD's on way to leading Oxford to the North Half Semifinals.
Matthew
has a list that consist of Ole Miss (offer), Alabama, and MSU.
James
Patterson (QB, Noxubee County, MS) - Listed as 6' 1", 215.
Patterson
has a very good arm and excellent mobility. His release is a little long when
he is in the pocket, but it speeds up considerably on the run without sacrificing
accuracy. His throwing motion is easily correctable, and he has all the tools
to be a standout on the college level.
A mobile quarterback that threw
for 2,500 yards and rushed for another 1,500 while combining for 37 touchdowns.
Patterson is a three sport athlete that also stars in basketball and baseball.
James has USM (offer), Ole Miss (offer), MSU (offer), West Virginia
(offer), and Texas at the top of his list.
Jamie
Phillips (FB, Lafayette County, MS) - Listed as 6' ", 215.
Jamie
was an key part for Lafayette County's run in the playoffs last season.
During
his junior season, Phillips recorded 118 tacles and 5 sacks as a linebacker and
rushed for 454 yards and 8 touchdowns on 69 carries as a running back.
Jamie
told us last night that he has Ole Miss, MSU, and Memphis at the top of his list.
Justin
Woodall (DB, Lafayette County, MS) - Listed as 6' 1", 205.
Woodall
is arguably the top athlete in the state of Mississippi this year. Justin has
a knack of knowing where the ball is going before the play develops, as evident
by his 30 plus interceptions in the past two seasons.
Justin led the state
of Mississippi in interceptions for the 2004 campaign. He finished the year with
16 interceptions.On offense, Woodall was just as dangerous, as he caught 30
passes for 750 yards and 8 TD's. Justin is being moved to QB and FS for his senior
campaign.
Justin was named 1st Team All-State (MAC) and District Player
of the Year for his play.
Woodall told us last night that he has Ole Miss
(offer), Alabama (offer), and MSU (offer) are at the top of his list.
