The following information was revealed during our interview with Jim Hart:

Which position are you being recruited to play on the next level? "I moved to offensive tackle this year. I played tight end up until this year. Everybody thought I was too big to play tight end, but then they would throw me a pass, and I changed a lot of minds."

What are your strengths on the field? "I guess mentally is my biggest strength. Football is more mental than physical."

What do you need to work on? "Mainly my speed. I would like to get my 40 down to at least a 5.0. I try to run a lot and do a lot of stretching. I went from a 5.4 to a 5.2 after I started this new stretching routine."

How long have you been starting for Pocahontas? "For three years."

All at TE? "Yes sir."

What were your stats as a junior? "My junior year, I had 85 pancake blocks. My sophomore year, I had 10 receptions for 116 yards."

Did you garner any awards? "I made All-Conference, Junior to Watch (Arkansas Democrat) and Top 25 by the Jonesboro Sun. My sophomore year, I was honorable mention All-Conference, and I was on the Super Sophomore squad by the Arkansas Democrat."

Which colleges have caught your eye so far? "Mainly Arkansas, and then MSU, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame because I am a Catholic."

Have you received any early offers? "MSU offered me two weeks ago."

Have you had a chance to take any unofficial visits to the colleges you are interested in? "I went to Ole Miss on Thursday with my sister and mother. I went to MSU last week, and I went to Arkansas for their Junior Day."

Talk about your visits to the Mississippi schools? "I liked the facilities and campus at Ole Miss, but the MSU coaches were more personable, I guess. I know the coaches were real busy and all. Coach DeLeone (Ole Miss) told me that everyone was gone on recruiting trips. I really thought the MSU coaches were friendly, and they showed me a lot of attention. It was good to get to see both schools."

Where do you plan to camp at this summer? "Right now, I am not sure on any. The only one I have signed up for is the Arkansas camp in June. I will probably go to the MSU and the 1 Day camp at Ole Miss.
