Lee possesses both speed and strength, and though he was unable to play a full season last year because of an injury, he still rushed for 1,392 yards and 14 touchdowns on just 138 carries.
He updates the latest with GoldenEaglePride.com.
"I was playing basketball but our season just ended," he said. "It took a while for us to get adjusted to all the football players coming in, but once we got it together we ended up having a really nice year.
"Basketball is just something I do to stay in shape."
Looking back at his season, Lee talked about how he was able to recover and still have a nice season.
"I missed four games but I felt like I was able to bounce back well and really have a solid season," he said. "I'm feeling great now."
Lee said he really wants to stay in-state right now.
"I want to go somewhere that has really good tradition and would be a place I can compete and hopefully play right away," he said.
"I've been to a few combines and I want to take in some junior days with Mississippi State and Southern Miss. Southern Miss is close to home so of course I'm very high on them. I also hope to see Ole Miss too."
Lee talked about himself as a player.
"I'm a guy who is determined and just am going to be very tough to tackle," he said. "I also play some slot receiver and I've played linebacker as well.
"I want to improve my speed, that is something that no one can take away from you."
We'll keep up with Lee as he considers junior day visits and summer camps.
