Gators in top ten of both polls

After a 2-0 week with conference wins over Georgia and at LSU, the Gators moved back into the top ten of both polls.

Florida (12-2) moved up one spot to No. 10 in the Associated Press Poll. The Gators held at No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.

The Gators are the highest ranked two-loss team in the country and the highest ranked team from the Southeastern Conference, but Missouri is the only other SEC team ranked. The Tigers came in at No. 17 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches' Poll.

The Gators will face off with Missouri in Gainesville on Saturday at 2 p.m. in a game Florida has already announced as a sellout.

The only two losses for Florida were both ranked highly this week. Arizona (15-1) came in at No. 7 in both polls. Kansas State (13-2) moved to No. 16 in the AP Poll and No. 18 in the Coaches' Poll.

Louisville moved up to the No. 1 spot in both polls after Duke lost at North Carolina State this weekend. Recommended Stories
