"I have two offers now, because Alcorn offered me today," said Isaac. "Jackson State had already offered me and I was supposed to go their on a visit, but we had a game.
"I am going to go see the game when Jackson State and Alcorn play. I might decide to sign with whoever wins that game."
Growing up in south Mississippi, Isaac learned a lot about the SWAC by following the programs as a fan.
"Both of them were sort of close to Natchez, so I liked them both," said Isaac of the Tigers and Braves. "When I was a little kid, Steve McNair was at Alcorn. I liked them a lot back then."
Several other programs have been in touch with Isaac over the course of the season.
"I get a lot of letters from the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, Memphis and some other schools," said Isaac. "Coach (Dave) Wommack from Ole Miss has been calling me.
"He told me that they are losing a safety and they need to sign a junior college safety.
"He said it was a three man race between me and two other guys."
As things stand now, Isaac is still open to the possibilities.
"I like Jackson State and Alcorn, but I am still open," said Isaac. "I want to see how things go after the season before I make my commitment.
"We still have a couple of games left and then we go into the playoffs. I want to do my best to help the team win these games."
